The Crimson Falling
King and Queen Judea
King Judaea’s reign over Penolpass has been a very peaceful one, and has lasted almost an entire century. Unfortunately, he has become terribly ill to the point of being unable to rule. His wife, Queen Judaea, has now taken charge with the assistance of the King’s seven aides.
Queen Judaea’s rule, on the other hand, has been fraught with rebellious behaviour from the people of Penolpass. Still a largely patriarchal society, the locals seem unable to accept a Queen as the head of state. It seems quite clear that, upon the inevitable passing of King Judaea, the Queen won’t lead for much longer.
Both King and Queen Judaea have been assassinated. With their passing comes the first civil war that Penolpass has seen in a century.
